Upcycle Bikes is not a retail bike shop and currently does not provide service and maintenance for the general public. However, we do stand behind our bikes and will work with our distribution partners to address needs as they arise.
Over time as we grow our organizational capacity, we will be adding a service component into our community impact. For now, please check out the support options below.
Support
Although bikes provide a relatively low cost and low maintenance transportation resource, we realize that they do require proper care and maintenance and do need professional servicing periodically.
The League of Michigan Bicyclists publishes What Every Michigan Bicyclist Must Know. This invaluable resource is published in English, Spanish, and Arabic and will guide riders through the anatomy of a bike, the ABCs of bike safety, necessary safety equipment and tools, and rules of the road.
DIY community repair stations are a great resource, as they provide basic tools and an air pump. Repair stations around greater Grand Rapids can be found using this Google Map, which will be updated perioidically.
